Onix “Build Your Foil” Tour

In June & July 2025, we kicked off the very first Onix Hydrofoils “Build Your Foil” Tour — and what a ride it’s been!

Over 10 stops across 5 countries, dozens of passionate riders, shapers, and watermen came together for an immersive hands-on experience into foil design and composite craftsmanship.

What Happened at Each Workshop?

Each 2–3 hour session included:

  • A deep dive into foil design, led by Onix founder Sam Carentz
  • Live lamination demos: participants got their hands on the actual materials used to shape performance wings
  • Open-floor Q&A sessions about everything from materials science to rider feedback loops
  • And of course… lots of foil talk, shared stoke, and community energy

What’s Next?

Due to the overwhelming response, we’re already planning the 2026 edition of the tour — bigger, better, and with even more stops across Europe.
